Astronomy Day, May 1, 2004

London Centre members are amateur astronomers who love sharing their expertise and observing experience with others who are keen to learn and enjoy the night sky.

To celebrate the end of International Astronomy Week members of London Centre put on a mall display in front of McKittrick's Cameras in the Cherryhill Mall. London Centre members Bob Duff, Mike Costa, Chris Fleming, Dave McCarter, Gary Hinks, and Neil White were on hand throughout the day to share information with members of the public. Many people took the time to ask questions about astronomy, telescopes and different objects that they have seen recently.

Gary Hinks explains the use of his big binoculars while Bob Duff sorts through images to display and Dave McCarter answers questions.
